Saudi researcher threatens to expel Yemeni southern expatriates from Gulf states

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – It seems that Saudi Arabia decided to use new pressure cards in the midst of its conflict with the UAE in the Yemeni areas under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

In an explicit threat, Ali al-Arishi, a Saudi political researcher close to the royal palace, has vowed to expel Yemeni expatriates from the Yemeni southern provinces from the Gulf states.

“I hope that the disgraceful demagogic behaviors practiced by the regional militias controlling Aden will not affect the Yemeni community in the Gulf, which bears the same titles and belongs to the same districts in the liberated Yemeni provinces,” Al-Arishi said in a post on his page on the “X” platform, formerly “Twitter”.

These statements come in the context of media polemics between UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) activists and Saudi spokesmen. Al-Arishi had previously threatened to open the black boxes of STC leaders if the council’s media did not commit to dealing wisely with Saudi leaders, led by Ambassador Muhammad Al Jaber.
