4.6-magnitude earthquake hits Eastern Gulf of Aden

ADEN, Aug 14 (YPA) – A magnitude earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, struck the Gulf of Aden region in southern Yemen during the past hours.

Seismic and volcano monitoring centers said the quake, which hit the Eastern Gulf of Aden was located at depth of 10 km.

The centers reported that epicenter occupied 260 km from the city of Mukalla.
