Senior official in Sanaa government demands return of looted money

SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) -The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, stressed on Sunday that lifting the blockade and recovering looted funds is “an important entry point for sustainable peace.”

Al-Ezzi said in a post on the “X” platform, “All funds and property registered abroad for the benefit of senior mercenary leaders and their families, whether in their names or in any other names, including companies, investments, real estate, balances, etc., are looted funds and must be returned because they are exclusive rights of the Yemeni people.”

“I am surprised how they enjoy money that they know for sure that they stole from us as a people and a country,” he added.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Yemeni people have the most just causes on earth because they are facing the most degenerate corrupt and terrorists in history and are confronting an international community that suffers from a terrible desertification of conscience and morals.

He affirmed that to restore the initiative or work to restore it—both of which are undoubtedly noble behaviors—is a wonderful and noble behavior that serves peace.
