Bomb attack targets military vehicle of Islah militants in Marib 

MARIB, Aug. 12 (YPA) – A violent explosion occurred in Marib province on Friday as part of a series of explosive devices used to harvest military patrols belonging to the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

The device was planted at the eastern entrance of Marib city and exploded while a military vehicle carrying Islah militants was passing by, local sources said.

According to the sources, the explosion resulted in damage to the military vehicle without recording any casualties.

During the past months, the targeting of military vehicles has escalated in Marib province in light of the inter-conflicts between the pro-coalition factions.
