Russian-Syrian forces conduct joint night exercises in Hama province

WORLD, Aug 03 (YPA)- The Russian Defense Ministry released a video footage shows the first night exercises conducted by joint Russian-Syrian forces in the western Syrian province of Hama, in which the participating forces were trained to destroy supposed terrorist concentrations.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, the exercises were conducted with the participation of Russian Su-35 fighter jets and Syrian artillery formations, where they trained to strike sensitive targets of supposed terrorist groups in the province.

In a simulation, Russian Navy’s Ka-52 helicopters also  destroyed the vehicles and fortifications of supposed terrorists.

The exercises also included landing by Syrian formations from an altitude of 1,500 to 3,000 meters with Russian Arbalet-2 parachutes from Mi-8AMTSh helicopters.
