Coalition recruits steal detergent company’s vehicle in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug 03 (YPA) – Forces in the 170th Air Defense Brigade loyal to the Saudi-led coalition looted  a car belonging to an industrial detergent factory in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.

According to local residents, the coalition recruits in the 170th Air Defense Brigade hijacked two days ago a car owned by the Al-Sulaihi detergent factory with its driver while he was parking the car near the factory in the “Al-Karama” area of Al-Mudhaffar district.

The sources explained that the recruits released the driver, while the car was transferred to an unknown destination.

The factory officials called on the competent authorities to work in order to get back the stolen car and ensure the safety of companies and workers in the city of Taiz.

The city of Taiz has been witnessing a major security chaos in which killings and looting have escalated, the latest of which was the assassination of UN official Muayad Hamidi in the city of Al-Turbah.
