Presidential directives issued to expand provision of power service via national grid

SANAA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Wednesday directed the Minister of Electricity to expand the provision of service through the national network, and to introduce the service to subscribers.

This came during his meeting today with the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti.

President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of operating and rehabilitating the existing capabilities, which were destroyed by the Saudi-led coalition, and maintaining the distribution network, and restarting transmission lines.
