Al-Mashat directs to develop Hodeida ports
SANAA, Aug 01 (YPA) – Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, directed on Monday leadership of Ministry of Transport and Red Sea Ports Corporation to work on developing ports of Hodeida and providing them with all needs and means.
Al-Mashat pointed to the importance of this step in the ports of Hodeida to be able to receive the largest number of ships and solve all the problems caused by the Saudi-led coalition, stressing the council’s keenness to support the Red Sea Ports Corporation to enable it to become fully operational.
This came during his meeting with the Minister of Transport, Minister of Transport Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq.
During the meeting, they discussed the navigational activity of Hodeida ports and the facilities provided to traders and importers.
Al-Mashat praised the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and the Ports Corporation during the last phase in developing the ports of Hodeida.
