Body of WFP official to be transported to Amman

ADEN, July 24 (YPA) – The body of WFP official Moayad Hamidi is scheduled to be transported to the Jordanian capital Amman in the coming hours to be laid to rest there.

According to sources familiar with the issue, The body was transferred on Sunday from Taiz to Aden amid heavy security.

The UN official was killed on Friday by gunmen on a motorcycle in front of a restaurant in the southern Taiz city of al-Turbah.
