Oil-rich Marib suffers from suffocating crisis in oil derivative

MARIB, July. 20 (YPA) – The oil-rich Marib city has been witnessed a suffocating crisis in oil derivative and the cooking gas for weeks.

Local residents said on Thursday that the long queues for citizens’ cars waiting in front of oil stations in the city and Wadi Abaidah district to fill their cars with gasoline.

The residents confirmed that the crisis came when the pro-coalition local authority in the province and influential members of the Islah party withdrew the large quantities of oil derivatives and selling them in the black markets.

They complained about the lack of oil derivatives in this scorching summer heat and the high temperatures in the desert city.
