Islah pushes new military reinforcements near Mukalla

HADRMOUT, July 18 (YPA) – Pro-Saudi Islah forces in Hadramout on Monday sent new military reinforcements to the outskirts of the eastern city of Mukalla.

According to sources, the military reinforcements for the forces of the first military region, deployed in the Sah district and various northern areas near the city of Mukalla, where the leadership of theUAE-backed factions is stationed.

This came as tensions between the coalition parties increased, especially after the second Hadrami uprising of the STC held its an expanded meeting in the Al-Rudud area, as part of moves to invade the Islah stronghold in the city of Seiyun.

In the past hours, new military reinforcements of the STC arrived in Mukalla, where they began installing anti-armor cannons, in light of preparations for a decisive battle against Saudi-backed factions.

Tensions in Hadramout are expected to increase in the next few days.
