OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 13 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities released Sheikh Najeh Bkirat, deputy director of the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf Council

According to the Palestinian sources, the occupation authorities released Sheikh Bkirat on Wednesday evening, and handed him a decision to deport him from al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Sheikh Najeh Bkirat, after storming his house in the town of Sur Baher in occupied Jerusalem, as part of their continuous war on the city of al-Quds and its symbols.

Sheikh Najeh Bkirat said – earlier commenting on the issuance of a decision by the occupation to expel him from al-Quds– “This decision sets a dangerous precedent, and means a real displacement process from the holy city.”

Bkirat affirmed that he will not comply with the occupation decision and will not leave al-Quds in any way, pointing out that the implementation of the decision means that the occupation will be able to remove all figures with a popular presence from the city of al-Quds and empty it completely.
