SANAA, July 07 (YPA) – Swarms of desert locusts have invaded several areas of Sanaa province, local sources said on Friday.
According to local residents, Swarms of locusts swept through the village of Beit al-Sayyid and a number of other areas of Bani Hushaish, northeast of the capital, Sanaa.
Over the past years, Yemen has witnessed a large spread of desert locusts in most governorates due to the lack of pesticides to combat puppies due to the blockade imposed by Saudi-led coalition countries.
