Protest rally in Hajjah denounces Swedish decision to burn Holy Quran

HAJJAH, July. 02 (YPA) – Tribes and sheikhs of Hajjah province organized on Sunday a protest rally to denounce a decision by Swedish authorities to burn copies of the Holy Quran.

In the rally, the participants considered this act a war against Islam and Muslims, demanding that the perpetrators of this crime be punished to ensure that the violations against Islamic sanctities, particularly the Holy Quran, will not be repeated.

They called on the peoples of the Islamic nation to go out in angry demonstrations to defend Islam and its sanctities.

The protesters stressed the importance of activating the economic boycott of Swedish goods and products in the face of this serious violation that targets the most important Islamic sanctities.
