UAE-funded STC pushes military reinforcements to Aden

ADEN, June 17 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias pushed on Saturday military reinforcements to Aden city, south of Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that the reinforcements, including military vehicles, arrived at Salah al-Din area of al-Buraiqa, after fierce confrontations with the armed men of al-Sabiha tribes in the area that left nearly 9 dead and wounded on both sides.

The sources added that the leaders of the STC’s factions seeking to impose their full control over the lands in Salah al-Din, including a large land belonging to one of the investors from al-Sabiha tribes.

During the clashes, al-Sabiha tribes’ gunmen were able to recover the lands looted by the STC militias belonging to the areas of Dhalea and Yafaa.

The sources added that the tribal mobilizations being continued for the sons of Al-Sabiha from the areas of Al-Madhraba, Ras Al-Ara and Tur Al-Baha towards Salah Al-Din in Al-Buraiqa, amid cautious anticipation from both sides.
