SNACC reviews report evaluating institutional frameworks for preventing corruption risks
SANAA, June 17 (YPA) – The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption organized on Saturday a workshop to review the results of the analysis of the questionnaire for evaluating legal and institutional frameworks in government agencies and economic units, as part of the National Vision for State Building 2030 and the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2022-2026.
At the opening of the workshop, in which 70 representatives from 30 parties participated, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, emphasized the importance of achievement, active activity, and dedication in building the modern Yemeni state in all institutions.
He pointed out that the national vision for building the state, launched four years ago, was a qualitative leap in light of the major transformations Yemen experienced to overcome aggression and blockade.
Al-Junaid highlighted the need to strengthen and develop the capabilities of state employees to meet the aspirations and hopes of the Yemeni people, who have suffered a lot.
For his part, the head of the SNACC, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, confirmed that evaluating the institutional frameworks in the first stage comes as a translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, and President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat.
Judge Mujahid explained that this also comes in implementation of the authority’s tasks, and the second strategy of the National Vision 2021-2026 to build state institutions and prepare them towards the stage of comprehensive advancement 2026-2030, one of the goals of the National Vision.
He noted that the first official in each ministry and institution is given an indication of how they would contribute to Yemen Vision 2030 by transforming their tasks and performance, and this gives the decision-maker a complete picture of the status of each service or institution.
