Iranian missiles, drones strike deep inside “Israel”

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 16 (YPA) – Media outlets in Tehran reported early Tuesday that a combined wave of missiles and drones targeted areas deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories.

Iran’s state television said the country’s armed forces had carried out a “powerful” attack, in conjunction with airstrikes on the northeast of the capital Tehran.

In “Israel”, Channel 12 said air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, the Gush Dan region, Sharon and Shomron, adding that millions of residents rushed to shelters.

The Channel  also cited residents in Quds ( Jerusalem) and nearby areas as reporting unusually loud explosions.

Hebrew media reported that fragments from an Iranian missile were seen passing over central parts of the country.

Iran’s armed forces said the strikes are part of their response to what they described as US-Israeli aggression, under the ongoing “True Promise 4” operations.

They added that more than 50 waves of missiles and drones have been launched so far, targeting US bases and interests in the region, as well as military and strategic targets in “Israel”.
