Saudi military reinforcements arrive in Abyan

ABYAN, June 11 (YPA) – Saudi military reinforcements belonging to the so-called “Dera al-Watan” forces arrived today in Ahwar district in Abyan governorate on their way to the city of Aden, according to multiple sources.

The sources said that the military reinforcements coming from Saudi Arabia include military pickup vehicles, ambulances, trucks, motorcycles and a number of military mechanisms.

On May 25, Saudi Arabia had sent huge military reinforcements to the city containing one hundred military vehicles after sending similar reinforcements at the beginning of the same month.

These reinforcements come within the framework of Saudi efforts to expand the deployment of the “Dera al-Watan” forces in the stronghold of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), which occasionally vows an open war against the Saudi-backed forces as the only option to ensure survival in Aden.
