SANAA, June 06 (YPA) – The Sanaa government , represented by the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions, announced on Tuesday the start of the process of disbursing the second half of the May 2020 pension for civilian retirees through post offices.
This comes despite the passage of more than a year since the armistice in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations, which did not change anything in the reality of the human suffering of Yemeni employees that still exists due to the interruption of salaries and the lack of seriousness of the Saudi-led coalition in moving towards peace.
Sanaa’s demands at the recent negotiations with the coalition were clear, including the disbursement of employees’ salaries from oil and gas revenues.
However, the coalition had an agenda associated with US President Biden’s administration dictations that aimed to double the suffering of the Yemenis, as US envoy “Lenderking” described the Sanaa demand for paying salaries as “extremist demands”.
