SANAA, June 02 (YPA) – A wave of dust hit the capital, Sanaa and covered parts of the governorates of Sanaa, Amran, Hajjah, Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, in addition to parts of the western, southern and eastern coasts.
According to forecasts by The National Center of Meteorology on Friday, rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, to hit parts of the governorates of Mahwit, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Bayda and Dhalea.
The center also expected that scattered moderate spells of rain, accompanied by thunderstorms to hit the governorates of Hajjah, Amran, Sanaa, west of Saada, the heights of Abyan and Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra, the western coasts, the Tihama plain, the southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent interior areas.
It also pointed out that moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms may fall on the Socotra archipelago.
The center warned citizens against being in torrents passages and valleys and warned motorists on roads and mountain turns of rockslides.
