Yemen witness cloudy weather accompanied by rains

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – Most provinces of Yemen will witness cloudy weather accompanied by rains of varying intensity during the coming 24 hours.

The National Center of Meteorology expected heavy rains on parts of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Bayda, Marib, Jawf and Socotra.

The center also expected sporadic rain on parts of the interior plateaus of the provinces of Lahj, north of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, as well as to parts of the western, southern and eastern coasts.

It called on citizens in areas where rain expected not to be present in the water ways and valleys during and after the rains.

The center warned against the decrease in the extent of horizontal visibility on mountainous roads due to low clouds or the formation of fog.
