Heavy rains to be expected to prevail over coming hours

SANAA, May 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms, in various provinces.

In its weather bulletin on Monday, the center affirmed that the sporadic rains would prevail over Saada, Hajjah,-Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Raymah-Dhamar, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz Lahj, Bayda and Abyan, Hadramout and Mahra.

It warned citizens against being in the torrential passages, valleys and water ways during and after the rains.

The center also warned of the decrease of horizontal visibility on mountainous roads, as well as rockslides, as a result of the rains and fog formation.
