OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 16 (YPA) – Confrontations broke out, early Tuesday, between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces near Jericho and Jenin in the West Bank.
Resistance fighters opened fire towards the occupation soldiers during their raid into the town of Qabatiya in Jenin and besieged a house. They demanded that those in the house to surrender.
Israeli special forces also stormed Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho, using a closed cargo vehicle.
A young man was injured by live ammunition and dozens suffocated by tear gas, while confronting the occupation forces, who prevented ambulance crews from reaching the wounded.
Loudspeakers of mosques of the camp called to confront the occupation army forces that besieging one of the houses.
According to the sources, the occupation forces arrested 5 citizens, including 3 brothers from the Al-Ladaa family.
