Pro-Saudi military groups loot Russian military equipment from Al-Anad base in Lahj

LAHJ, April 07 (YPA) – Al-Anad military base in Lahj province was subjected to a massive looting operation by radical Salafi groups established by Saudi Arabia under the name of “Shield of the Homeland”.

“The pro-Saudi extremist groups from homeland shield forces have transferred old Russian military equipment from Al-Anad base, as well as a crane for warplanes and cables for lighting the jet runway”, informed southern sources said.

The sources added that these Saudi forces transferred the equipment to Aden airport, without specifying its true destination, amid accusations of transferring it outside Yemen.
