MARIB, March 31 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out on Thursday in one of the camps for displaced people in the city of Marib, north-eastern Yemen.
Local sources said that a fire broke out in “Al-Khair complex” camp for the displaced in the center of the city of Marib, which led to the death of a displaced woman and the injury of her husband with severe burns.
According to the sources, the fire consumed the modest house, due to the delay in the arrival of the civil defense team and the lack of security and safety means in the displaced camps in Marib.
From time to time, IDP camps in Marib governorate and the rest of the provinces under the control of coalition forces are exposed to multiple fires, causing material and human losses.
