4.5 magnitude earthquake hits Tajikistan

WORLD, March 09 (YPA) – Earthquakes were recorded on Thursday in the Republic of Tajikistan, The Euro-Mediterranean Center reported.

The center noted that an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Tajikistan.

According to the center’s statement, the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 82 km southwest of the Morgap residential center.

The statement noted that the epicenter of the aforementioned earthquakes is located at a depth of 40 km.

No injuries or material damage have yet been reported.
