US military convoy targeted in southern Iraq

WORLD, Feb. 26 (YPA) – A military convoy belonging to the international coalition in Iraq was targeted with explosive devices on Sunday, Iraqi news sources reported on Sunday.

This convoy was carrying logistics equipment belonging to the Americans, which was targeted and destroyed in Al Diwaniyah province, Iraqi media quoted a security source as saying.

No casualties have been reported so far.

It is worth mentioning that the operations targeting the international coalition military convoys in Iraq stopped during the past months, but they finally returned.
