7 people killed in building fire in central Moscow

WORLD, Feb. 22 (YPA) – At least seven people were killed,  as a result of a fire broke out in a building in central Moscow, The Russian emergency service announced on Wednesday.

The agency quoted “Novosti” a source in the Ministry of Emergencies as saying: “a woman who was injured in the fire pronounced died in the hospital and the death toll rose to 7 people,” as well as the number of injured to 11 people.”

Earlier, the emergency services were informed  about the fire that occurred in the building where the MKM Hotel is located.

The fire broke out on the fifth floor of a 16-storey building and has been brought under control.
