SANAA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The New Zealand authorities announced on Wednesday that the violent hurricane “Gabriel” that swept the country this week left at least three dead, warning that the danger has not yet completely dissipated.
Minister of Emergency Management Kieran Macanulty said that three bodies were recovered after the passage of “Gabriel”, explaining that the hurricane displaced about 10,500 people and deprived more than 140 thousand others of electricity, noting that the current is gradually returning to the houses deprived of it.
