SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected a decrease in temperatures in the desert areas during the coming 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center indicated that cold northeastern winds, reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots, will blow over the desert areas, explaining that these winds will lead to a decrease in temperatures by two to four degrees and work to stir up light to medium dust.
The center pointed out that the effect of cold winds being likely to reach most areas of the country, including the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, with the exception of the southern and southeastern coastal areas, the internal mountainous heights, the western coastal areas.
The center warned citizens in cold provinces to take the necessary precautions against cold weather, calling on motorists to warns of the deterioration of horizontal vision due to dust and the spread of fog.
