President Al-Mashat appreciates Oman’s efforts to bring peace to Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Thursday appreciated the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman and their positive role in achieving the honorable peace that all the Yemeni people aspire to.

This came during his meeting today in Sanaa with the Omani delegation currently visiting Yemen.

In the meeting, President Al-Mashat discussed with the delegation the efforts exerted by the Sultanate of Oman, regarding the peace path, and exchanged views on it.

He called on the Omani delegation to be responsible for the humanitarian file, as the first step for achieving peace.

President Al-Mashat asked the Omani delegation to convey his greetings to His Majesty Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and congratulations to him on the third anniversary of his accession to power.
