Winter weather gets expected to continue in various provinces within coming hours

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – The cold and relatively cold weather will be expected in several provinces of Yemen during the coming 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center stated that cold weather is expected in Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, Dhalea, Ibb, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.

The forecast pointed out the possibility of fog forming in Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Dhamar, Dhalea, Ibb and Taiz during the night and early morning.

Sporadic rain is also expected in parts of the western highlands, and active to strong winds, with a maximum speed of 30 knots in the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

The center warned citizens in cold areas to them to take necessary precautions from the cold atmosphere, calling motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads due to low horizontal visibility.
