Meteorological issues its weather forecast in Yemen within coming hours

SANAA, Jan. 05 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center is expected on Thursday cold weather during the coming 24 hours.

The center indicated, in its weather forecast, that the weather may be relatively cold in the highlands of the provinces of Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.

It stated that active to strong winds, with a maximum speed of 28 knots, might blow over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, reaching 20 knots around the Socotra Archipelago.

The center urged citizens in cold areas to take the necessary precautions and wear appropriate winter clothes, calling on farmers, beekeepers and livestock to protect their agricultural crops and livestock.
