Lunch sparks clashes among UAE factions in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 01 (YPA) – A fierce quarrel broke out on Sunday among two citizens due to a lunch in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

One of them on a car was chased by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias to recover the cooked meal after managed to take it from the hotel, eyewitnesses explained.

They affirmed that the pursuit happened during the opening of a hotel on the Abyan Coast-Al-Arish road in Khor Maksar district.

The sources stated that the militia opened fire during the pursuit, causing a state of terror among passers-by, and the hungry person was arrested and taken to an unknown destination.

The collapse of the economy due to the coalition-backed government’s arbitrary policy and the looting of oil revenues and ports directly has reflected the deterioration of the living conditions of citizens and the rise in basic commodity prices.
