Security services seize 3 deer in capital Sanaa

PROVINCES, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The security services in the capital Sanaa and governorates of Dhamar, Amran, Hodeida and Dhalea seized deer, foodstuffs and other smuggled goods, security sources said on Sunday.

In the capital Sanaa, security forces thwarted the smuggling of three deer were hidden on board a Hilux car.

Security forces also seized 700 bags of beans belonging to UN organizations smuggled on a locomotive.

In Dhamar,  security forces seized 415 gallons and 170 cartons of smuggled agricultural fertilizers on board a transport truck.

In the same context, security forces  seized 18 barrels of oil waste on board a truck in Amran governorate

In Hodeida, the Coast Guard Authority at Salif Port seized one 1,020  motorcycle bodies, and two 2,228 barrels of 50 kilos of smuggled carbon on board the “Nakhoda”.

In Dhalea province, Jaban police seized 98 bags of prohibited and smuggled agricultural pesticides on board a taxi.

The sources indicated that the suspects were detained and referred to the Prosecution to take legal measures.
