HODEIDA, Dec. 26 (YPA) – At least four civilians were injured, as a result of the explosion of explosive objects leftover by Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeida province, western Yemen.
The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement, that two small brothers were injured in Al-Tuhayta district, while two others citizens injured in Al-Hali district when explosive objects went off.
The statement pointed out that the continued casualties of cluster bombs and landmines are due to the lack of detectors, despite repeated requests for the United Nations to bring them in to the country as an urgent humanitarian necessity and a right for the Yemeni society.
