Al-Wahbani stresses importance of rehabilitating airports of Taiz, Hodeida

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Jaber Al-Wahbani, stressed on Thursday the importance of rehabilitating the republic’s airports, including the international airports of Taiz and Hodeida.

He affirmed that the step would alleviate the suffering of the people of Hodeida, Taiz and other provinces.

This came during his meeting to discuss the plans, programs and activities of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions for 2022.

Al-Wahbani praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Transport and its sectors in implementing some projects in light of the aggression and siege for eight years, urging development and modernization in a way that contributes to serving the Yemeni people.

He considered transportation in its various fields, land, sea and air, the lifeline of the Yemeni citizen in providing his basic needs, most notably food and medicine.
