Gold prices stabilize in Yemeni markets

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Gold prices stabilized on Tuesday in the Yemeni goldsmiths markets, as the price of the gold pound in the capital, Sanaa, reached 222,000 riyals, while it reached 466,000 riyals in Aden and the southern provinces, controlled by Saudi-led coalition forces.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase =27,850 YER, Sale = 30,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 222,000 YER, Sale = 226,000 YER.

The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 58,000 YER, Sale = 63,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 466,000 YER, Sale = 480,000 YER.
