President Al-Mashat meets Committee to address problems of land surrounding airports

SANAA, Dec.12 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Monday met with the Committee charged with addressing the problems of the lands surrounding Yemen’s airports.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat urged the Committee to act in accordance with international standards in order to achieve safety and ensure the protection of the airports’ land, which is a public interest serving all Yemeni people.

He instructed the Committee to examine complaints and complete compensation for citizens who had not yet been compensated, prevent new constructions and remove any obstacles to the operation of airports in accordance with international standards and requirements.

The President also directed that representatives of Awqaf Authority and Finance Ministry be added to the Committee.
