ADEN, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The Islah Party launched a scathing attack on the head of Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad al-Alimi, describing him as worthless.
“Neither Al-Alimi’s speeches nor his foreign movements are worth as long as he does not have a clear political project,” The editor-in-chief of “Akhbar Al-Youm” newspaper, Saif Al-Hadari, wrote on his twitter account, commenting on Al-Alimi’s attendance at the Arab-Chinese summit.
He added: “He raised under the banner of concessions without a ceiling, which reached the point of accepting the condition of weakening (the army) and besieging its wounded!” In reference to Al-Alimi’s submission to the UAE by handing over the governorates of Shabwa, Abyan and finally Hadramout to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council )STC(.
The Islah’s attack comes after al-Alimi issued a decision appointing a new commander in the UAE-backed STC militia as chief of staff of the First Military Region, which represents a soft handover of its forces to the council.
