Meteorologists expect very cold weather in coming hours

SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected very cold weather will sweep several Yemeni provinces in the next 24 hours.

The center said in its weather bulletin on Saturday that the weather likely to be very cold in the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea and Ibb.

It pointed out that active to very fast winds ranging between 15-25 knots on the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden.

The center warned the elderly, children, the sick and workers during the night and early morning to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather, calling on farmers to protect their agricultural crops.
