Field campaign for registration of families, newborns launched in Saada
SAADA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – The branch of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Department in Saada province inaugurated on Saturday the first phase of the field campaign to register families and newborns in the civil registry in the districts of Saada, Majaz, and Razih.
During the launch of the campaign, which lasts 20 days, the governor, Muhammad Jaber Awadh, stressed the importance of the campaign to record family data and births, calling on all parents to take advantage of this opportunity to record their children in their family registry.
Director of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Department’s branch in the province, Colonel Aidhah Ma’qel, explained that the campaign teams are present in the branches and offices of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Department in the targeted districts.
Ma’qel stressed the importance of civil registry data as information needed by the state in setting general plans for construction and development.
