11 people killed, others kidnapped in armed attacks in Nigeria

SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Eleven people were killed and dozens kidnapped on Tuesday in separate attacks by armed gangs targeting villages in the northwestern state of Zamfara in Nigeria.

Reuters quoted local sources as saying: “Bandits kidnapped 50 people, mostly women, after attacking the remote village of Maso in Bukoyum region, while gunmen attacked other villages, a number of highways, killing 11 people and kidnapping others”.
