ADEN, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition leadership adopted new options to determine the headquarters of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, led by Rashad Al-Alimi, in Hadramout province, due to the existing differences between its members.
Political sources in the city of Aden the new proposal came after the differences between the military formations loyal to the coalition reached their climax over the deployment of Tariq Afash forces and the Islah party in the city of Aden.
The sources said that the new proposal included the transfer of the headquarters of the Riyadh Council to Hadramout, after the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias backed by the UAE refused to accept the presence of any non-transitional military reinforcements in Aden.
For nearly a week, the city of Aden has lived in a state of military alert, after the STC took a combative position on the outskirts of the city of Aden from the northern side, in preparation for confronting battalions of Tariq Afash’s forces that reached the borders separating the provinces of Lahj and Aden, south of Yemen.
