Yemeni fisherman, others wounded in US Navy bombing off Mahra coasts

MAHRA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – A Yemeni fisherman was killed on Sunday and two others were wounded when their boat was targeted by the US Navy off the coast of Mahra, eastern Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter said that the fisherman died succumbed to his wounds, in addition to the injury of two fishermen who were shot by the US Navy last Wednesday, while roaming the Yemeni waters in the Arabian Sea.

The sources indicated that the US Navy targeted the fishermen’s boat in the waters in front of Hawf district of Mahra, amid announcing the so-called Coast Guard of the coalition-backed government that they rescued Yemeni fishermen, without mentioning that they were subjected to an American attack in Yemeni waters.

The foreign forces turned 11 out of 12 fish landing centers in the province into military barracks and weapons stores, which harmed the province’s fishermen.

The American and British forces, along with soldiers from the Zionist entity, took Al-Ghaydah Civil Airport as a military base on the Arabian Sea, after the Saudi and Emirati forces arrived in the province staying away from the confrontations with the Sanaa forces.
