Syrian air defences confront Zionist aggression near Damascus

DAMASCUS, Oct. 22 (YPA) –  Syrian army air defences confronted an Israeli-missiles aggression that targeted several posts in the vicinity of Damascus, downed most them, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Friday, citing a military source.

According to the source, “the Israeli enemy launched at 23.03 am on Friday night the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial  aggression with a group of missiles, from the Sea of Galilee’s airspace, targeting some post in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.”

The source added that the Syrian air defences intercepted the hostile missiles and downed most of them, and only material damages were reported.
