Yemen’s armed forces carry out warning strike to prevent oil ship trying to loot Hadramout crude oil
SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces carried out on Friday a simple warning strike to prevent an oil ship trying to loot crude oil through Dabba port in Hadramout province, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, the armed forces spokesman, said in a news statement.
The spokesman added that the oil ship violated the decision issued by the competent authorities to ban the transfer and export of Yemeni sovereign oil derivatives.
He indicated that the warning message came to prevent the continuation of the looting of oil wealth and not allocating it to serve the people in salaries and services.
“The warning message come after addressing and informing the concerned authorities to the ship the decision based on the Yemeni laws in force and international laws,” added Brigadier Yahya Sarie, noting that the ship was dealt with cautionary measures in order to preserve the safety and security of Yemen’s infrastructure and the security of the ship and its crew.
“We will not hesitate to stop and prevent any ship trying to loot the wealth of our Yemeni people,” he warned, vowing to launch more warning operations in defense of the great Yemeni people and to protect their wealth from tampering and looting.
