General strike hits all West Bank Cities in mourning of martyr Oday Al-Tamimi

OCCUPIED PALEDSTINE, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Palestinian national and Islamic forces on Thursday announced a one-day general strike, in the occupied West Bank cities in mourning of Palestinian youth Oday Al-Tamimi, who was killed last night by Israeli gunfire near Jerusalem.

In Jerusalem, Palestinians blocked the streets of occupied Jerusalem, in compliance with a general and comprehensive strike.

The General Union of Transport Workers in the occupied West Bank announced a comprehensive strike in response to the call of the national forces  for a comprehensive strike in all public transport.

The syndicate called on all drivers to participate in the events and march to escalate against the occupation at the points of contact.

The Teachers’ Union also announced a strike in all schools and districts in the West Bank.
