Scattered showers to be expected in several provinces of Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected scattered showers in several provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center stated, in its weather bulletin on Thursday, the sporadic rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, would prevail over parts of the coasts of the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Taiz, Hodeida, in addition to Bayda, Lahj, Dhalea, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Hajjah and Mahweet.

It indicated active to very fast winds around the Socotra archipelago, with a maximum speed of 30 knots.

The center warned citizens against the low horizontal visibility on mountainous roads due to thick low clouds and fog.
