HADRAMOUT, Sept. 29 (YPA) – A number of citizens were killed and injured on Thursday in armed confrontations in Hadramout Valley, eastern Yemen.
Local sources said that clashes broke out between the gunmen of Islah “First Military District” and the sellers of qat in the center of a popular market in Al-Qutn city, which led to the death of one of the sellers named Jabr Al Shaweh, and a number of others were injured.
The oil directorates of Hadramout province are witnessing a security chaos amid the demands of UAE’s Southern Transitional Council for the exit of the militants of Islah-affiliated region and the deployment of “Hadrami Elite” militia in the Valley districts.
